"Monster Hunter World" went live earlier on Jan. 26. The game was met with much excitement, however, online play encountered some problems, and the developers have been trying to fix it ever since launch.

According to GameSpot, patches were recently launched for both the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One. While the patches did fix some bugs and iron out online gameplay, problems regarding the game's clan system continue to persist. Occasionally an error stating squad information cannot be found pops up and players lose their squad data and end up needing to recreate their groups.

Despite the downsides, GameSpot mentioned that Capcom managed to deal with a bug that had non-squad members appearing during squad sessions.

Matchmaking problems have also been popping up for players using Xbox consoles.

"Monster Hunter World" developers acknowledged the problem through a tweet on the game's official Twitter page. They apologized for the problem, stating that they are currently aware of it.

The Tweet was met with some annoyance, with some players stating that the folks behind "Monster Hunter" had prioritized PlayStation players over Xbox players, and with some stating that this was because no beta test was released for "Monster Hunter World" on the Xbox One unlike for the PS4.

Bugs aside, Capcom uploaded an announcement explaining the changes that were added to "Monster Hunter World" during the patch updates.

Aside from squad problems, the patches also fixed issues with decorations, bow guns, quests and many more.

"Monster Hunter World" is an action-roleplaying game developed and published by Capcom. Similar to the previous games in the "Monster Hunter" franchise, the game focuses on hunting down monsters and upgrading weapons. However, unlike previous games, some of the mechanics were changed to ensure more convenient play — third-person shooting controls were retooled to work more efficiently, scout files were added to the game and the game even added a new tracking system that would make it easier for players to find monsters.

"Monster Hunter World" aims to be the ultimate hunting experience for gamers out there.
