Conflicts will arise in the next episode of "Modern Family" season 8.

The synopsis for the episode titled "Grab It" revealed that Jay (Ed O'Neal) might lose his most favorite place in the world because of Phil (Ty Burrell). The place happened to be Jay's personal refuge, but he will feel that it will not be that appealing because of his son-in-law.

Meanwhile, Claire (Julie Bowen) will make a wrong assumption on her influence on Alex's (Alex Winter) life choices. This could cause another disagreement between the mother-and-daughter pair.

Spoilers Guide revealed the rest of the synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads: "Jay's favorite place in the world, and only refuge, may be losing some of its charm when Phil considers becoming a member. At the Dunphy house, Claire mistakes her influence on Alex's life choices, and Hayley cares too much about what Alex thinks about hers. Meanwhile, when Cam doesn't give Mitchell the full story on what his play is really about, it really puts Mitchell in the spotlight."

On the other hand, speculations claimed that Hayley's (Sarah Hyland) ex-boyfriend Andy (Adam Devine) will return to Los Angeles in an upcoming episode of "Modern Family" season 8.

Andy and Hayley went on separate ways when he returned to his hometown in Utah. News about Devine's return in the critically-acclaimed mockumentary series remains scarce, but speculations claim that the actor could now find some time to return to the set after his Comedy Central series "Workaholics" make its final run after season 7.

If Andy will return to the show, it could derail Hayley's plans for her future since she is reportedly focused on her career in the current season of the series. However, ABC has yet to confirm if Devine will indeed make a guest appearance on the show.

ABC will air the sixth episode of "Modern Family" season 8 on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
