GameSpot, one of the video game retailers for the upcoming PlayStation 4 (PS4)-exclusive Major League Baseball (MLB) game, "MLB The Show 18," posted a video on Twitter showcasing the new features of the game — a batting stance creator, home run celebrations and rain delays.

According to GameSpot, players will experience these new features in the upcoming game. The introduction of the batting stance creator gives gamers a great amount of control over the look of the players' stances. Gamers can now move the positioning of the players' hands on three different axes, control over the rotation of the players' hands and control the amount of waggling players' hands do. In addition to these controls, gamers will also have control over the bending angle of the players' knees and hips as well as the position of the player's feet. Players can also customize stances according to their liking or copy the stances in the MLB season they have not yet seen in the previous installments of the game franchise.

Moreover, the upcoming game will also feature players that will react to the impact of their team's home run to the overall result. Alongside the home run celebration, the game will also have the dancing Chicago Cub pitchers alongside other team-specific celebrations. In addition, the pitching animation of the game has also been improved to appear more realistic.

Another fantastic addition to the game perhaps is the inclusion of more diverse weather — there will now be rain and fog in "MLB The Show 18." And like in a real baseball game, there will also be a rain-delay every time it rains. Gamers will now have to make the choice of either changing or continuing with the pitcher before the game was postponed.

"MLB The Show 18" is available for preorder on both PlayStation Store and GameStop
