'Minecraft: Story Mode' Skin Pack released, downloadable for free until April 12

 Mojang

After Telltale Games released all the episodes for "Minecraft: Story Mode" season 1, Mojang revealed that they will release a skin pack that players can download for free for a limited period.

According to their press release, Jesse, Olivia, Petra and Axel, as well as a number of other characters from the episodic adventure video game, will be included in the "Minecraft: Story Mode" Skin Pack for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PC and mobile versions of the game.

Mojang revealed that players who will download the upcoming skin pack can create their own adventures in the game.

"Hatch dastardly plots as the beardy schemer Ivor, leave a trail of explosive destruction as the roguish Magnus, or get a gang together and see if you can survive the whirring cogs of Soren's mob-grinder in this Story Mode-themed arena map. That's free, too!" the game studio revealed.

The "Minecraft: Story Mode" Skin Pack was released on April 6, and it can be downloadable for free until April 12. Those who will opt to get it at a later date could purchase the skin pack for $2.99.

Meanwhile, those who still want to purchase "Minecraft: Story Mode" can purchase the game at a discounted price on Google Play.

For a limited period, "Minecraft: Story Mode" sells for $0.49 instead of the regular price of $4.99. The purchase will unlock the first episode, titled "The Order of the Stone," where players can join the adventures of Jesse, Olivia, Reuben, Lukas, and Axel as they face a dangerous monster named Wither Storm at Endercon.

Those who want to purchase the Season Pass, complete with all five episodes, including "Episode 2: Assembly Required," "Episode 3: The Last Place You Look," "Episode 4: A Block and a Hard Place," and "Episode 5: Order Up!," can be purchased at a 50 percent discount.
