'Minecraft: Story Mode' episode 7 release date news: 'Access Denied' to be released July 26

Telltale Games has finally announced the release date of "Minecraft: Story Mode" episode 7, which is next week.

According to the press statement uploaded on the game studio's official website, the seventh installment of the episodic "Minecraft" game, titled "Access Denied," will be released for the PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and mobile devices on Tuesday, July 26.

The press statement on the arrival of episode 7 reads:

"What awaits our heroes in this next adventure? Continuing their portal journey in search of home, Jesse and crew land in a world entirely controlled by PAMA - a sinister "thinking machine" determined to command everyone and everything in pursuit of optimal usefulness and efficiency. Forced on the run to avoid capture and assimilation, you'll need to work with a new ally to defeat the corrupted computer and free the population it has enslaved."

The studio also revealed that Community cast member Yvette Nicole Brown will also appear as a guest star for "Access Denied." She will lend her voice to the PAMA's creator, who will be hiding from the machine at the start of the episode.

Those who want to purchase "Telltale Games' Minecraft: Story Mode" episode 7 can purchase it for $4.99 via the iOS App Store, Amazon's App Store and Google Play. But those who have already purchased the Adventure Pass bundle worth $14.99 can also get hold of episode, along with episode 6, titled "A Portal to Mystery" and released in June, as well as the upcoming episode 8, "A Journey's End."

The first five episodes of the episodic "Minecraft" game are "The Order of the Stone," which came out on Oct. 15, 2015; "Assembly Required," released on Oct. 27, 2015, "The Last Place You Look," released in November 2015; "A Block and a Hard Place," released in December 2015; and "Order Up!" released in March.
