The "Metal Gear" franchise is one of the most popular game series that Hideo Kojima made famous and became famous for. Even after his departure from the team, developer Konami had continued with the series and its first game "Metal Gear Survive" had mixed reactions from the audience. Now, fans can finally see if the game will also be a hit as its predecessor when it comes out on PC beta this week.

The beta will be coming out on Feb. 16 to Feb. 18, 2018. This is actually the second beta for "Metal Gear Survive" or simply "MGS" as the first one happened a few weeks ago for the consoles. This time, it will include PC on its beta list making it the first for the platform. Now, PC gamers will finally be able to judge the game for themselves.

The announcement was made via the game's official Twitter account. According to PC Gamer, Konami mentions that it will have a multiplayer mode that is quite similar to the previous beta. With this second beta, players can play three missions within two maps and with up to four friends or players in general. Daily missions will also be added to the beta.

Those who will try out the beta will reportedly be rewarded once the full game comes out. What these bonus items are, however, have not been revealed yet. Nevertheless, most players, especially those on PC, are looking forward to seeing how the "Metal Gear" series has progressed without Kojima leading its development.

Current reviews of the game highly depend on the players' individual preferences at this time. Some fans of the series do not like the new direction the game is taking while others are happy to embrace the changes.

"Metal Gear" fans can see for themselves when the beta runs from Feb. 16 to 18. The full release of the game will be on Feb. 21. PC players can get the game via Steam.
