Users of the Nintendo Switch One will experience a blast from the past this year with the coming of the first and second compilation in the "Mega Man Legacy Collection" -- slated for an early summer release this May.

Capcom, the mind behind the cult-classic, announced that it is releasing two game bundles in the "Mega Man" game series.

In total, the two bundles will include 10 iconic "Mega Man" games.

In the first game, collection users can expect the first six games in the "Mega Man" game series -- where they can reminisce their youth in the original jumping, shooting, and sliding gameplay of the initial "Mega Man" titles.

Meanwhile, the second gaming bundle will include "Mega Man" titles 7 to 10 -- which made their first debut on the Super Nintendo console in 16 bit and 32 bit versions except for "Mega Man" 9 and 10, whose gameplay was a throwback to the original 8-bit version.

Aside from these amazing titles, Capcom also incorporated new features in-game. Players can now save anywhere in the game without worrying about going back to far-off save points.

The second bundle is also integrated with new challenge modes complete with remixed stages and leaderboards. In addition, users can now listen to the game's music with the new sound mode and access various developmental archives through the museum mode.

The "Mega Man Legacy Collection" (1 to 6) retails at $14.99, while the "Mega Man Legacy Collection 2" (7 to 10) is priced at $19.99. It will be made available on the Nintendo eShop on May 22 of this year.

Other than this, Capcom has also announced the 11th installment of the original "Mega Man" series -- "Mega Man 11." It is slated for a release on the PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in the fourth quarter of the year.
