'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' season 2 spoilers: organization's origin revealed in episode 15

Lucy Lawless returns in the next episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." The seasoned TV actress will reprise her role as Isabelle Hartley, but she will remain dead after being killed by Carl Creel (Brian Patrick Wade) in the first episode of season 2.

Hartley will appear in flashback sequences, particularly during the days before S.H.I.E.L.D. fell. Her appearances will also show how the leaders of the original S.H.I.E.L.D. disagreed with each other during the forced takeover, which led to several combats and injuries.

Meanwhile, another hostility is brewing among the present S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, wherein some of the members are beginning to work against Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg). Two of the major players in the move to take down Coulson from the agency are Mack (Henry Simmons) and Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki). They want to remove the director from his position at the top of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agency to start a less discrete one.

The official synopsis for the episode reads: "War comes to Coulson's doorstep in a way he never anticipated as shocking revelations are brought to light."

Based on the promo trailer for the episode, Bobbi's actions against Coulson will be uncovered. Series executive producer Jeff Bell talked about Bobbi's plans in his recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"I think in 15, you'll get the clearest sense of this is who she is — this is what she believes in, this is why she does the things she does. And Gonzales is a piece of it, but she comes in with a very clear singular vision of what things are," the executive producer stated. "And there's a moment in 15 that really defines the direction of her and Gonzales and Mack and a lot of people, that pivots off of her. So I think more than anything, you'll get a sense of who she is at her core, which I think people will like."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 2 episode 15 titled "One Door Closes" airs March 31.
