Marvel 'Agents of SHIELD' and 'Agent Carter' coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2015

While Marvel Studios opted to keep the details about their upcoming films out of this year's San Diego Comic-Con, they will still head over to the San Diego Convention Center to showcase the upcoming seasons of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Marvel's Agent Carter," both of ABC, as well as the upcoming TV adaptation of "Guardians of the Galaxy" that will be aired on Disney XD. 

Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb will join the cast and crew of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Agent Carter" for the joint panel discussion on Friday, July 10, where they will showcase a lot of surprises and exclusive news regarding both superhero TV series. Then the two shows will have separate cast signing events at the Marvel Booth on Saturday, July 11. 

Reports claim that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." executive producers such as Loeb, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen will join cast members Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Nick Blood, Adrianne Palicki, Henry Simmons, and Luke Mitchell to answer questions regarding the direction of the show in season 3. 

They will join the executive producers of "Agent Carter," including Loeb, Chris Dingess, Tara Butters, Michael Fazekas, and Louis D'Esposito, as well as lead stars Hayley Atwell and James D'Arcy, as they discuss the plot for the show's sophomore season which is set to air in 2016. 

Saturday's cast signing events for Marvel TV will begin at 10:00 a.m. for "Agent Carter," while the members of the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." cast will start socializing with fans at 2:30 p.m. 

The official synopsis for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 was spotted by Den of Geek, which reads:

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for a dynamic, action-packed third season, as Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) embarks on a deadly new secret mission to protect the world from new threats in the wake of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s wars with Hydra and a rogue faction of Inhumans."

The series will return on Sept. 29.
