It seems like the fate of the two latest couples on "Married at First Sight" season 3 can be determined as early as now.

After all three pairs headed off to their honeymoon destinations, things started to be clearer for Vanessa Nelson and Tres Russell.

At first, the newlyweds had an argument regarding their choice of dwelling, according to Zap2It. Vanessa enjoys living in the city, but Tres would like to live in the suburbs near his workplace. But in the end, Vanessa agreed to leave her city home so Tres will no longer have to commute longer to go to work.

The two also seemed to have a better chance of staying together compared to the other couples since they know how to fulfill their duties as husband and wife. Vanessa cooked Tres's favorite dish during their first night at their new home, and Tres showed his appreciation by carrying her off to bed. The two reportedly consummated their marriage that time.

But while Vanessa and Tres appeared to be happy, another couple seemed to be experiencing something different.

During the fifth episode of "Married at First Sight" season 3, Ashley Doherty and David Norton still seemed uncomfortable with each other after their honeymoon trip.

In the episode, David went home alone after their trip even though Ashley insisted that they still need to do other activities on their own. David was worried that Ashley is not really into him and felt that their relationship is already breaking apart.

"It's starting to hit me right now that maybe my wife doesn't like me, and being here by myself, I feel defeated," David revealed to the cameras, according to Us Weekly.

But the two managed to sort out their problems when they talked about their finances and David was pleased when Ashley agreed to let him pay for the majority of their household expenses because she is still studying to become a nurse.

However, the two seemed to be on the edge every time one makes a mistake. When Ashley broke David's toilet seat, she was afraid to tell him about it. On the other hand, David was afraid of what Ashley will say when she asked him to talk, thinking that it had something to do with their marriage. Could they stand each other for long knowing that they are still uncomfortable with each other?

Meanwhile, Sam Role and Neil Bowlus are still in their getting-to-know-each-other stage and they still have a long way to go to figure out if they want to stay married or not.

The next "Married at First Sight" season 3 episode airs on Tuesday, Jan. 5 on FYI.
