Viewers are starting to get a preview of the end results of the month-long social experiment in "Married at First Sight" season 3.

After being together for two weeks, the third set of couples from the controversial reality series are contemplating about each other's intentions for their relationships based on what they show to their partners.

In the recently released episode titled "Meeting In-Laws," Vanessa and Tres experienced a bump in their budding relationship even if they are considered as the strongest couple this season.

The couple already consummated their marriage in the previous episode of the season, but Vanessa was suddenly unsure if Tres is really ready to give their marriage a shot after she found him passed out on their couch after partying.

Tres went out with his father and uncle, who came to visit them with his other family members to meet his wife. After several drinks, Tres went home to Vanessa. But his demeanor worried his wife because Vanessa thinks that he is still not ready to let go of his partying ways. Tres tried to reassure her that he is not like who he used to be. But Vanessa admitted that she is having difficulty trusting men because his father abandoned her.

When Vanessa and Tres talked to the show's resident psychiatrist, Vanessa began to relax a little and compromised with her husband to make their relationship work.

Meanwhile, Ashley and David are not that fortunate in their set-up.

The couple seemed to have a doomed relationship from the start since they cannot get along well with each other. But despite Ashley's fondness of David's mom, they still need to form a bond to be able to make their marriage last.

Sam and Neil, on the other hand, are also having problems expressing themselves in front of the cameras. Sam said that her husband is not acting natural whenever the cameras are around, and he admitted that he does not know how to communicate properly because of the pressure of the show.

Could Sam help Neil get rid of the stress that he feels because of the pressure of being on TV?

"Married at First Sight" season 3 returns Tuesday, Jan. 12 on FYI.
