Almost a month after Netflix dropped the controversial web TV documentary, viewers are asking the streaming service provider to come up with another installment of "Making a Murderer."

The true crime docu-series centers on the story of Steven Avery, the man from Manitowoc County, Wisconsin who served 18 years in prison for a wrongful sexual assault and attempted murder conviction but was later on accused and convicted for another crime.

The critically acclaimed web docu-series earned positive reception from viewers and critics alike because of its broad approach to the case.

Filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos spent almost a decade making the documentary. They allotted time to study the aspects of the case while moving back and forth between New York and Wisconsin to provide a scope to the story. Because of the praises for their output, fans are already looking forward to seeing the development of the case through a second season of "Making a Murderer."

Fans expressed their demands on social media to beg Netflix for another season of "Making a Murderer." Some are asking the filmmakers to come up with a complete feature of Avery's current conviction.

Viewers believe that the Teresa Halbach murder case that brought Avery back behind bars needs to have further clarification. They want more answers to understand why he was charged with murder immediately after he was exonerated.

However, both Ricciardi and Demos are mum about their plans for another installment of "Making a Murderer" at this point.

According to a report on Netflix Life, the streaming service provider could possibly order a "Making a Murderer" season 2 if there will be a big development in the case such as the granting of pardon for Avery or his nephew Brendan Dassey.
