VH1's controversial reality show "Love & Hip Hop" lived up to its name when it featured the romantic wedding between series regular Yandy Smith and her fiancé and co-star Mendeecees Smith during Memorial Day. The two-hour live show featured the couple's pre-wedding preparations, the arrival of their guests, as well as their actual exchange of vows.

During the pre-wedding flashbacks, the bride and her now mother-in-law had a few run-ins with each other as Mendeecees' mom Judy imposed to add her own style in the wedding, including Yandy's wedding dress.

But the two women in Mendeecees' life seemed to have patchedd things up after the wedding, with Judy saying: "I think Yandy's a very beautiful bride and I'm happy she's coming into the family. I think it's a blessing and I wouldn't trade her for the world."

The couple went all out in their glitzy and glamorous wedding at the historic Weylin B. Seymour's event place in Brooklyn, New York, where they filled the venue with $90,000 worth of floral arrangements. The bride's wedding dress did not come cheap either as Yandy spent a total of $50,000 on two Pnina Tornai gowns worth $25,000 each that she had a hard time choosing from. In the end, she asked her fans to pick which one she should wear on her wedding day, and majority picked the blinged-out gown.

But probably the most touching scene during the wedding was when Yandy's father walked her down the aisle despite being recently amputated.

The star-studded televised ceremony was attended by several "Love & Hip Hop" cast members, including the members of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" spin-off stars Stevie J., who also acted as the co-host of the wedding, Joseline Hernandez, Karlie Redd, Yung Joc, Kirk Frost, as well as Mama Dee. The couple's co-star Tara Wallace, Peter Gunz, and Rich Dollaz were also in attendance, as well as "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood's" Ray J and his girlfriend Precious Love.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Harris were joined by their two adorable children, two-year-old Omere and four-month-old Skylar, while they tied the knot.
