'Love and Hip Hop: New York': Bow Wow claims Erica Mena plans to leave show

Erica Mena is willing to lose everything, even her stint in the hit reality show "Love & Hip Hop: New York," to spend more time with her soon-to-be husband, rapper turned actor Shad Moss.

In his latest interview with Access Hollywood Live, Moss told host Billy Bush that Mena will not return to the next episode of the controversial reality show produced by VH1.

"Now she's done she's out here full time now. She has some great things coming as well. She has HER, her clothing line she's running. She's branching that out. She's doing a lot of big things too and she's looking forward to the move. She's actually on the plane on her way here right now," the rapper formerly known as Bow Wow said.

Meanwhile, a report from News Pittsburgh Courier Online pointed out that series creator Mona Scott-Young is still silent about Moss' claims during that interview. Mena herself has not commented on her fiancé's revelations regarding her last appearance in the show.

However, a Bossip report recently claimed that Mena has already missed out on some of the show's episodes. She was allegedly absent from the filming of most episodes since the beginning of this year, such as the scheduled taping of the reunion special for "Love & Hip Hop" season 5. Instead, she decided to fly to Florida to celebrate the birthday of her son. She just reportedly filmed her part for the special episode in a separate one-on-one session with Scott-Young.

A source told Bossip that "Erica was pretty much sick of the deflecting and the projecting of off other people's negativity," since most of the cast members of the show were signed because of their squabbles. Last year's reunion special saw her picking a fight with her cast mates.

"She's about to be somebody's wife," the source said, "and she didn't want to put herself in the type of space where that could happen."
