'Love and Hip Hop: New York' season 6: DJ Self gets in the middle of an ugly fight between girlfriend Yorma and Cardi B

The sixth season of "Love & Hip Hop: New York" just started, but the events happening among the cast members have already begun to intensify.

In episode 2, new cast member Cardi B was introduced in the series. But as soon as she entered the scene, she already revealed that she and her co-star DJ Self are hooking up.

During the third episode of the season, Cardi got into an ugly altercation with DJ Self's girlfriend Yorma because of their affair.

As soon as the episode started, Yorma confronted DJ Self about the ring that she found in his bathroom during their dinner date. He lied about the ring, saying that it belonged to his cleaning lady. This pacified Yorma, and the two patched things up before he invited her to join him as his date for Mariah Lynn's birthday bash.

However, the New York DJ did not know that Mariah invited Cardi B to her party. The birthday girl knows that DJ Self and Cardi B are seeing each other, but she has no idea that he has a girlfriend.

On the night of Mariah's birthday celebration, DJ Self was forced to be in an awkward situation when he needed to introduce the woman that he is having an affair with to his girlfriend.

Cardi looked irritated at first after realizing that he was lying to her, but her emotions escalated quickly when Yorma began to insult her. This provoked her to grab Yorma's hair and the two started a catfight.

Security was needed to stop the two from further hurting each other. However, it seems like their fight is far from over.

Meanwhile, the episode also deals with the repercussions of Amina Buddafly's admission that she is pregnant with her husband Peter Gunz's child.

In the episode, Amina confessed to her sister that she is having second thoughts about continuing the pregnancy because she believes that Peter is still cheating on her with Tara Wallace.

Fans of the long-running reality series are expecting to learn Amina's decision regarding her pregnancy when "Love & Hip Hop: New York" season 6 returns next Monday on VH1.
