After filming for the new "Love & Hip Hop: Houston" officially began last week, sources claimed that the upcoming reality show spin-off will no longer push through.

Rumors claimed that filming for the upcoming series was put on hold after a fire broke out in the middle of the set while the cast was celebrating Jhonni Blaze's birthday. According to a report from Starcasm, the birthday girl had an ugly altercation with castmate Just Brittany.

According to reports, guns were drawn on some of the show's cast and crew. Hip Hop Overload added that one of the cameramen was thrown to the floor and received threats. This reportedly irked the producers and led them put the filming schedule on hold for everyone's safety.

However, Just Brittany denied the cancellation rumors when NewsWithAttitude asked her about it during her birthday celebration in Texas.

The "Mama Should've Told Me" singer reportedly revealed that VH1 is not cancelling the upcoming show, but shared that fans should wait for more details about the show.

"Y'all will just have to stay tuned and see what happens," the singer stated.

Her rumored enemy, Jhonni Blaze, also denied the cancellation reports via her Instagram account, saying that social media cannot destroy their plans to represent hip hop in Houston through the show.

Aside from Just Brittany and Jhonni Blaze, the upcoming "Love & Hip Hop" spin-off will also include rappers like the Sauce Twinz, Kirko Bangz and Propain.

The show will also feature professional boxers Charlo Twins, DJ Eric, Lil Keith, and J. Prince Jr. The cast also includes Mehgan James in the show.

"Love & Hip Hop: Houston" will be the third installment in the "Love & Hip Hop" franchise. The original series that is set in New York is currently taking a season break after the sixth season finale, while "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" season 5 is airing in VH1.

The network is expected to reveal more details about "Love & Hip Hop: Houston" in the coming days.
