A chaotic episode awaits "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" fans, as an unexpected twist of events unfolds in the ninth episode of season 5.

In the upcoming episode, titled "Free at Last," Joseline Hernandez's long-awaited freedom is almost in her grasp. But she will soon discover that the elusive independence is still out of her reach.

But the surprises will not end there. Scrapp DeLeon will be in deep trouble with his girlfriend Tommie Lee, after the aspiring actress found a hotel receipt in the rapper's car with Karlie Redd's name on it. This could lead to a big fight between the couple, since it was earlier revealed that Scrapp and Karlie had an affair while he is seeing Tommie.

However, not everything is working against Tommie in the upcoming episode. Based on a clip from episode 9, Tommie's attempts to venture into the music industry by finding a manager and a music producer will not go to waste. According to the sneak peek, Stevie J is strongly considering taking Tommie's offer to have her under his wings.

But will things work properly between the two, especially since Stevie is still in the middle of an ugly situation with his wife Joseline?

Meanwhile, one of the cast members of "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" season 5, Karen King, was arrested early Tuesday for financial identity fraud, first-degree forgery and theft by taking.

New York Daily News revealed that the arrest was related to the Aug. 30, 2015 embezzlement case filed against the reality show star in Atlanta where she and two Saks employees purchased at least $5,000 worth of items from Saks Fifth Avenue using a stolen credit card.

Karen King is the mother of Scrapp, also incarcerated at the moment for marijuana trafficking.

The next episode of "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" airs on VH1 on Monday, May 30.
