Korean indie developer Yang Bing caught the world's attention when he released a trailer for his private video game titled "Lost Soul Aside." New reports revealed that the game will be supported by Sony.

Based on the game developer's Twitter post that was spotted by PlayStation Lifestyle, Sony got in touch with Bing to offer their support to his game which is inspired by "Final Fantasy VX." They will help him finish the game with the help of several other developers so that it can be released by 2018.

Bing also stated that his upcoming game could be under a time exclusive deal with Sony's PlayStation platform, but he is still planning to release it on other platforms in the future.

In July, Yang Bing revealed in a Facebook post that he got the inspiration for "Lost Soul Aside" after watching the trailer for the "Final Fantasy XV," especially the game's main protagonist Noctis. However, he claimed that the models could possibly change once the final game comes out.

Two of the main characters of the game, Kazer and Ventas, were introduced in the trailer that was posted on YouTube. The same trailer caught the eye of some of the biggest game distributors in the industry aside from Sony. However, there are limited details released about the rest of the game at this point.

Game Zone also pointed out that the upcoming action role-playing game is also inspired by Tecmo's "Ninja Gaiden."

Bing was earlier asked if he wants to start a crowdfunding project for the game, but he revealed that he will have to think about it before he could decide. According to the game developer, he is not sure if he can bear all the responsibilities of starting a crowdfunding project like in Kickstarter. But it seems that he does not need to do it anymore because of the support of Sony.

More details about "Lost Soul Aside" is expected to be released by the game developer soon.
