The latest trailer for "Killer Instinct: Season 2" was recently released by Microsoft, showcasing the addition of a new character that will be featured in the Xbox One-exclusive fighting game.

In the new trailer, Omen, Herald of Gargos is introduced. He is the fifth character to join the game in Season 2. The blue-colored ghoulie is allegedly a one-time owner of Jago, and he is equipped with the capability to be visible on the mortal plan as the Shadow Jago.

Omen is going to be featured as a bonus character once he becomes available for free download to all Ultra Edition owners beginning Jan. 30, while those who have the Combo Breaker Edition can start downloading him on Feb. 5.

However, the addition of Omen in the game does not mean that he will become a regular inclusion in "Killer Instinct Season 2." He will just be a bonus character to be available to those who purchase the Season 2 pack. As of now, Microsoft has no plans on selling the character individually.

While Omen is the main focus of the new "Killer Instinct" trailer, fans get a bonus teaser of another new character that will be featured in the game. This time, the gigantic monster Golem can be seen during the last few seconds of the video.

Game Rant describes Golem as a humongous creature who knows a unique line of dangerous attacks. Aside from that, there is little information known about the character. Microsoft is expected to introduce the new character properly in the coming days.

Omen and Golem will join other "Killer Instinct" characters T.J. Combo, Maya, Kan-Ra, as well as last month's newly-introduced character Riptor once they are ready for download.

"Killer Instinct: Season 2" was initially launched on Oct. 15, 2014 for Xbox One consoles.
