It seems like the British royal family will have another addition, if rumors about Kate Middleton's third pregnancy turn out to be true.

Recent reports claim that the Duchess of Cambridge is two months pregnant with her third child with Prince William, less than a year after giving birth to Princess Charlotte, in May 2015.

Rumors about the Duchess's third pregnancy began when the royal couple was noticeably absent during the Middletons' annual holiday on Jan. 31 to celebrate the birthday of Kate's mother Carole on Caribbean island Mustique.

But according to Hello! Magazine, the reason why Kate and William opted not to join the Middletons during their annual family holiday was probably because they did not want to disrupt Prince George's schooling schedule, since their firstborn just began attending the Westacre Montessori School in East Walton.

The couple is reportedly having a very hectic schedule. Prince William is busy fitting as many shifts as he can for the East Anglia Air Ambulance in the next few months before he and his wife embark on their first official overseas tour in India.

Other reports, meanwhile, claimed that the Duchess already announced the big news to the royal family last Christmas. An unnamed insider supposedly recently told Life & Style magazine that the royal couple dropped the surprise in December, and William's brother Prince Harry was absolutely delighted with the news. However, the royal couple was allegedly shocked when they discovered that she is expecting a child at this point.

"Kate and William have always wanted to have a large family," the insider told the magazine. "But they didn't think they would be expecting baby No. 3 quite so soon."

There are also reports saying that the Duchess is already suffering from morning sickness, which she also experienced during her first two pregnancies.

However, there are no official pregnancy announcements from the royal couple's reps at the moment.
