Kate Middleton news: Duchess of Cambridge to be interviewed for the first time since wedding

In celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton will be doing an interview for the first time since she married Prince William and became part of the royal family, all for a special project.

Along with the other members of the royal family, namely Prince William, Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, the mom of two will be sharing stories about Queen Elizabeth II for a movie about her life and reign, tentatively called "The Queen at Ninety."

"We've been fortunate to have the participation of so many members of the royal family to mark this historic milestone in the life of the Queen," Oxford Film and Television executive producer Nick Kent said via (E! Online).

"It's a remarkable story of an extraordinary life, which in so many ways reflects the changing face of the nation," he went on to say. Ant and Dec will be hosting the documentary airing on ITV this May.

Kate's participation in the movie is a special event itself, knowing that the last interview she ever did was way back in November 2010, when her engagement with Prince William was first announced.

The Duchess will also be doing an editor stint with The Huffington Post U.K. this month in an effort to raise awareness of one of her charities. Kate will be bringing a team from the publication to the palace.

"The Duchess will be commissioning contributions from a number of leading figures in the mental health sector as well as from young people, parents, and teachers," a Kensington Palace representative said in an official statement picked up by Pop Sugar.

Just recently, there were reports that Kate was pregnant with her third child with Prince William. The reports were never corroborated.
