After conceiving her baby without having an intimate relationship with the father in season one, Jane the Virgin will finally become Jane the mother before the second season begins.

The critically acclaimed hit comedy-drama "Jane the Virgin" is one of the eight shows that The CW renewed early this year.

It will join The CW line comprised of the "Arrow" that returns for season four, "Supernatural" that will be going for an eleventh season, "The Originals" that will come back for its third season, "The Vampire Diaries" that will come back for its seventh season, the second season of "The Flash," and "The 100" that will return for its third season.

Series executive producer Jennie Urman told TV Guide that the first season finale of Jane the Virgin will feature "fun and twisty and wacky developments" that will lead to the show's second season.

Meanwhile actor Justin Baldoni talked about what's in store for his character Rafael in season two, especially now that Jane and Rafael's baby will finally come out.

"I can't wait to dig into it. Here's Rafael who's never taken care of anybody but himself, being tasked with taking care of Jane and taking care of a baby. So that is an incredibly new experience for him and I'll be experiencing it in real life too. The difference is I'll be more prepared. Hopefully next year I'll get a chance to do all the things I shouldn't do in real life, which was similar to this year with Jane and my wife Emily," Baldoni said.

The first season of Jane the Virgin received positive reception from the viewers and the critics alike, and it even received several nods from important award-giving bodies like the American Film Institute Award where it won the AFI Television Program Of The Year, People's Choice Award as the Favorite New TV Comedy, as well as the Best Actress for Television Series Musical or Comedy for lead actress Gina Rodriguez in the Golden Globe Awards.

If when-will.net's claim turns out to be true, Jane the Virgin season two will return in October this year.
