Things will get more complicated for Jane and her family in the next episode of "Jane the Virgin" season 2.

In the previous episode, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) underwent a rollercoaster of emotions as her mother Xo (Andrea Navedo) and her best friend Lina (Diane Guerrero) set up an epic bachelorette party.

Things got out of hand when Xo proved to Jane that her maturity level still has not changed, and she instigated the kind of wild party that her daughter wanted to avoid. The episode also showed a lot of flashbacks during Jane's 21st birthday when Xo also got too drunk and wild. Xo used the same apology that she said to Jane during that particular incident, but her daughter refused to forgive her this time.

For the upcoming episode, Jane will feel the effect of her fallout with her mother as she looks for someone who will help her take care of Mateo.

According to the synopsis for the episode, "With Jane and Xo still dealing with the fallout from Jane's bachelorette party, Jane is now left with finding someone to watch Mateo. When Michael (Brett Dier) volunteers to help everything is perfect until Mateo does something for the first time in front of Rafael (Justin Baldoni), upsetting him. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) gets in trouble with the network executives when he uses the crew for his own use, so he turns to his favorite writer Dina (guest star Judy Reyes) to help fix the problem. Meanwhile, someone is causing problems for Petra (Yael Grobglas) at the Marbella and in her personal life."

Viewers of the show are expecting to see more of Petra's "twin," who was also introduced in the previous episode. Is the twin also as scheming as Petra was in order to get whatever she wants?

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 episode 18 airs on Monday, April 18, on The CW.
