Rahul Kohli has finally addressed the rumors about the coming changes that will happen to his character Ravi Chakrabarti in "iZombie" season 3.

According to speculations, Kohli's character's usual gentle self will transform into a tough fighter who will protect himself and the people he loves. These rumors began after the actor posted several photos on Twitter about his MMA training sessions.

Ravi is known for being the caring medical examiner who is supplying Liv Moore (Rose McIver) with brains for sustenance. But Kohli clarified the rumors Thursday, saying that his training is personal, and it has nothing to do with the plot of "iZombie" season 3.

However, the actor told TV Guide back in February that the producers of the show have big plans for his character next season.

"I was told, based on what they want to do with the rest of the show, that if we go into our third season we want to delve into a little bit of Ravi's stuff," the actor said. "So they may break that formula slightly. At the moment that's just a conversation, but there may be more Ravi come next year."

Meanwhile, lead star McIver teased that big changes are coming for Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley) when the series returns next season based on her conversations with series creator Rob Thomas.

"The last thing that I've heard from him is that Major is gonna be taking on characteristics from brains as well," the actress said in an interview with TVLine.

This means that McIver's character, Liv, and her ex-fiancé will have the same powers and capabilities next season. But could this mean that the former lovers will finally have a change to get back together as a couple?

The CW is expected to air the third season premiere of "iZombie" during its midseason schedule.
