Netflix unveiled the new trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel TV series "Iron Fist" during the 2016 New York Comic-Con this weekend.

The promo trailer showed Danny Rand (Finn Jones) in full concentration as he summons the power of the Iron Fist while he looks back on his past and remembers the legacy of his family. The trailer also revealed what Danny could be capable of when fighting the lawless elements in New York City.

"Iron Fist" is the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series. In an interview with IGN, executive producer Scott Buck revealed that the upcoming series will have a major difference compared to the previously released superhero series including "Daredevil," "Jessica Jones," and "Luke Cage."

According to Buck, the upcoming Marvel show will be a bit lighter compared to the first three TV series, since Danny himself possesses a lighter personality compared to Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), and Luke Cage (Mike Colter). "He's someone who has optimism and hope. And despite whatever the odds are, everything is always going to work out--even if it's a foolish thing to think at the time," the executive producer stated.

Meanwhile, the lead star of the series was asked by the press, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, if he is already feeling the pressure due to the success of the earlier TV series. According to Jones, he is confident about "Iron Fist" because they are supported by an experienced production team. "I'm really excited just to get it out there and let people enjoy what we've created," the actor said.

Jones will be joined by Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.

"Iron Fist" is scheduled to be released on Netflix on March 17, 2017.
