iOS 8.3, 8.4 jailbreak news: TaiG jailbreak tool version 2.3.0 released

Chinese jailbreak firm TaiG revealed that iOS 8.4 already has an unauthorized jailbreak, which is good news for those who want to jailbreak their Apple devices immediately.

The announcement came right after Apple released the latest version of their iOS mobile operating system early this month. TaiG's official Twitter account says that the Jailbreak Tool Version 2.3.0 is already available. This version is compatible to use with any Apple product that runs using iOS 8.4.

According to the jailbreak developer, the new jailbreak tool will correct the personal security flaw that users encountered when they downloaded and installed the previous version of the jailbreak tool. This jailbreak version would also work well with iOS 8.3.

But according to TaiG, Apple users who want to download the latest jailbreak tool should be aware that a different hacking site managed to steal their security features for the tool, which is why they should only download the Jailbreak Tool Version 2.3.0 from their official website.

Meanwhile, a list of new jailbreak tweaks for Cydia have been revealed, and they are all compatible with iOS 8.3- and iOS 8.4-operated devices.

These new apps from Cydia include:

  • Battivator – An app which works well to improve the low power mode and add more options for the battery level profiles. It can be downloaded for $1.49.
  • ShareTweaks – This free app can share Cydia package details with other jailbreakers.
  • iOS 9 KeyboardSelection – A free app that can activate two-finger text selection or cursor on the keyboard.
  • FavoriteTweaks – A free app that arranges the user's favorite tweaks in one place.
  • Mirmir – For just $3.99, this jailbreak app can allow windowed multitasking like playing games, sending and receiving emails, watching videos, and others all at the same time.

There is no news yet if a jailbreak compatible for the upcoming iOS 9 is already in development.
