Rumors are rife about the brand new iOS 8.1.3 update that aims to fix the never-ending iOS 8 problems that bother the users of Apple products worldwide. According to recent reports, the latest iOS 8.1.3 update will come out as early as this week or later next week, prior to the release of the highly awaited iOS 8.2 update for Apple devices.

GSMArena disclosed that the Cupertino-based tech giant will make the new operating system update public this week. Apple reportedly seeded the iOS 8.1.3 build 12B460 to selected retail employees so that they can test it before its release. But MacRumors speculated that the iOS 8.1.3 will be released earlier than that, saying that it was seeded to its employees as early as Jan. 7. It could mean that the public rollout for the update will come very soon, although a specific time frame is not yet confirmed.

Just a little over a month ago, Apple Inc. unveiled the iOS 8.1.2 to fix the issues regarding the disappearance of ringtones that were purchased at the iTunes Store. Yet other major and minor glitches were left unaddressed by that update, including battery drain problems and the like. Other important iOS problems that need to be fixed include the quality of life bugs, UI glitches, copy-pasting text issues, as well as overall improvements to the device's general stability.

Meanwhile, Apple is expected to release a major update, iOS 8.2, for its products after the Apple Watch is made available to the market. According to reports, the iOS 8.2 is currently in the beta process and it is mentioned that the update might be able to run in the first wearable device of the Cupertino tech company.

The iOS 8 operating system software was rolled out back in September last year, following its unveiling alongside the company's two new flagship phones, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
