The mobile version of "Injustice 2" has arrived on Android devices a week ahead of the release of the highly anticipated console version. While the game sequel appears to be nothing more than the mobile version of the first "Injustice" game, it is said to be worth occupying some space in one's Android device, thanks to its seven game modes.

"Injustice 2" for PlayStation, Xbox One, and PC is not slated to arrive earlier than May 16, but avid DC gamers have already downloaded the mobile version of the game. According to reports, while the mobile version of the game is relatively simple as compared to its upcoming console version — thanks to its simplified controllers — it is nothing short of entertaining and exciting because of its seven game modes.

The Android version of "Injustice 2" offers the following game modes that make it just as riveting as its upcoming console version:

  • Campaign: It is in this mode where players engage in tough battles that intensify as the game progresses. It is also in this mode where gears and character shards are won.
  • Training Missions: This game mode involves rotating mission that gives class XP.
  • Operations: In Operations, players can send their chosen DC character out on a mission for a particular period of time.
  • Arena: This is the game mode of "Injustice 2" where players engage in player-versus-player battles.
  • Challenges: It is in the Challenges mode where players experience rotating events, similar to the Multiverse mode of the upcoming console version of "Injustice 2."
  • Leagues: This game mode enables players to form league alliances with other players and take on raids.
  • Story: The Android version of "Injustice 2" offers the same story mode with that of its upcoming console and tells how DC and heroes alike join forces to stop Brainiac from bringing the world to destruction.

Meanwhile, it has been learned that, just like the iOS version of "Injustice 2," the Android version is available for a free download, too.

Both iOS and Android mobile versions of "Injustice 2" require in-app purchases.
