HTC One 10, the much-awaited follow-up to the One M9, once again shows up in a couple of leaked live images. Prior to its rumored impending release, two more photos showing the Taiwan-based tech firm's flagship gave an exclusive look at the front and back of the handset.

The live images prove that HTC decided to spice things up in the design department. On the front are two capacitive buttons that sandwich a fingerprint scanner embedded on a hardware home button. The HTC One 10's predecessor, the One M9, had onscreen buttons.

The HTC One 10, which is called HTC Perfume behind closed doors, said goodbye to the BoomSound speakers on the front. Its bezels on the side are looking slim, while a metal frame runs around the edge of the handset.

As seen in leaked renders and images, the back of the HTC One 10 has a ridiculously wide chamfered edge to give it an ergonomic feel, which will allow users to enjoy clutching and using the device. Its metallic sheath also makes the HTC One M9 successor look sleek. The signature stripes on the topmost part and the bottom portion of the device are also intact.

To the right of the 12MP camera lens is a LED flash and a laser autofocus sensor. The same design language appears in a render leaked by Evan Blass. This press render, however, gives a good look at the top and bottom of the HTC One 10. On the bottom sits the speaker and a USB Type-C port. At the top is the headphone jack.

As for the specs, users are looking at a 5.1-inch Quad HD display. The device is believed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage space expandable with a microSD card to up to 32GB.

The HTC One 10 is expected to be launched on April 19.
