Annalise's (Viola Davis) life will become more complicated in the next episode of "How To Get Away with Murder" season 3.

In the episode titled "Don't Tell Annalise," the career of the ferocious criminal lawyer and law professor will be at risk after discriminating evidence against her was discovered by the disciplinary board. But that will just be the least of Annalise's problems since she still has no idea where Frank (Charlie Weber) is, even if Laurel (Karla Souza) already discovered his whereabouts in the previous episode.

The synopsis posted on The Futon Critic reads: "The fate of a young client is jeopardized after the Philadelphia Bar Association disciplinary board discovers damaging information about Annalise. Meanwhile, Frank commits a shocking act that someone close to him must deal with."

The promotional trailer for the upcoming episode showed that Annalise will be in deeper trouble after the slapping incident involving her sexual offender client, Toby Solomon (Austin Basis). The said incident was caught on camera in the previous episode. It also showed that more details about the fire that happened in her house will be revealed.

Meanwhile, Souza shed some light about the appearance of Laurel's father in the episode titled "Always Bet Black" in an interview with Variety.

In the previous episode, Laurel's crooked father Mr. Castillo was finally introduced. The episode showed how heartless Mr. Castillo could be after the revelation that he left Laurel's mom while she was still battling a mental disorder. Laurel also mentioned during their intervention meeting at her father's office that he refused to pay the ransom when she was kidnapped when she was 16 years old. This explained why Laurel wants to be as far away from him as possible until she had no other choice but to ask for his help to locate Frank.

According to Souza, Mr. Castillo's presence will be felt in the upcoming episodes of "How To Get Away with Murder" season 3. "The character of my father is present, whether he's mentioned or present through flashbacks. So yes, he's going to be definitely present throughout because now we know that he's someone who can find out these things," the actress stated.

The next episode of "How To Get Away with Murder" season 3 will air on Thursday, Oct. 13, on ABC.
