'How To Get Away with Murder' season 2 premiere spoilers: The killer's identity will come out

 ABC

The sophomore season of "How to Get Away With Murder" will premiere in two weeks, which means that the truth about Rebecca's (Katie Findlay) mysterious death will finally be revealed.

The trailer for the premiere episode titled "It's Time to Move On" seems to give several clues on who really killed Rebecca. First, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her trusted staff Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) is seen disposing of Rebecca's dead body, who was earlier detained in the esteemed lawyer's basement back in season 1.

However, Frank's statement appears to be a clue to the killer's identity when he says, "Whoever did this had to be strong enough to drag her behind the stairs."

Could he be referring to a male killer? Or he might be implying that someone as strong as him could have done the crime, since it was revealed that he was the real killer of Lila Stangard (Megan West) back in the first season finale under the orders of Annalise's husband Sam (Tom Verica).

However, another clue appears when the trailer focuses on Wes Gibbins' (Alfred Enoch) face as Annalise asks her Criminal Law class the question, "Why are we more inclined to hurt the ones we love the most?"

Back in season 1, Wes and Rachel got romantically involved after he helped her prove her innocence regarding Lila's death when she became Annalise's client. The law school student, together with three other members of Professor Keating's best students, all got a hand in the murder of her husband when they were protecting Rachel from Sam's attack last season.

But while the students' secret is still undiscovered, the trailer promises that Rebecca's death will be resolved in the upcoming season premiere.

But the teaser also claims that Rebecca's murder is not the only focus of the episode as the voice over says that "the craziest OMG moment of the premiere" is yet to come.

Is this why Annalise is furious and tells someone, "Now that you've done this you're a monster!!"

"How To Get Away with Murder" season 2 premieres on Thursday, Sept. 24, on ABC.
