In a highly calculated move, Netflix unveiled its first teaser video for the third season of "House of Cards" during the Golden Globes, exactly around the same time as Kevin Spacey's walk toward the stage to accept his award as the Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama.

The 45-seconder trailer showed Spacey's character Frank Underwood who is finally elected as the president of the United States. His voice was heard on the video, saying:

"You want to know what takes real courage? Holding it all together when the stakes are this high."

However, the video offered little information about where the show will be heading. It only showcased a montage of images that seems to heighten the fans' excitement over the upcoming season of the critically acclaimed political thriller.

Among the scenes shown is a clip of a military funeral wherein three caskets are being buried, the reluctance of a foreign head of state who turned down the handshake gesture of the new U.S. president during a photo op at the White House, the group of protesters gathering outside, as well as several images of the new first lady Claire Underwood (Robin Wright Penn) wearing a worried face.

There are speculations that the Underwood marriage will be on the rocks in the coming "House of Cards" season 3. Aside from Frank's new problems as the president of the United States of America, he and Claire also have to face a lot of new ordeals that could affect their relationship, particularly Rachel Posner's (Rachel Brosnahan) mysterious disappearance. Can their marriage stand the test of the presidency?

Meanwhile, fans are wondering what Frank will do now that his trusted Chief of Staff Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) is already dead.

The multi-awarded "House of Cards" season 3 will air its premiere episode on Feb. 25 on Netflix.
