Speculations about the return of an original Wildcats team member are being talked about after rumors about Corbin Bleu's return in "High School Musical 4" surfaced online.

The actor, who portrays the role of Troy Bolton's (Zac Efron) friend Chad Danforth, was said to be joining the fourth installment of Disney Channel's original musical movie when he appeared during the casting call that was conducted at the Anaheim Convention Center in May.

While Bleu has yet to confirm if he will reprise his role in the upcoming movie, he gave the auditionees a pep talk to give his advice for the future stars of "High School Musical 4."

Meanwhile, Ashley Tisdale already confirmed that she will not be part of the new "High School Musical" in an interview with New You.

"Looking back, it was such a perfect thing for its time and was so pure that I just don't know how you go from there," the actress who portrayed the role of Sharpay Evans in the first three installments of the movie said. "High School Musical didn't make us, we made High School Musical because of our friendship, how close we were, and the magic there at the time. Kenny Ortega just made it what it was. Disney is an amazing company so I'm sure they'll find some way to do it."

Lead stars Efron and Vanessa Hudgens also continue to be mum if they will reprise their roles as Troy and Gabriella Montez in the upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, casting for the movie continues. Disney is searching for five new actors who will portray the lead roles in the upcoming film.

The casting calls include the roles for the Evan twins' cousin Campbell, who is described as "Troy Bolton 2.0," badass female soccer player Erin, dancer-soccer player Derek, Erin's best friend Nathalie, and cheering squad member and former queen bee Tamara.

"High School Musical 4" is expected to be released by Disney sometime in 2017.
