Deck-building role-playing game (RPG), "Hands of Fate 2," is not exactly the most popular RPG game out there. However, it still remains one of the best game requiring players to build decks. Fans of the game will be glad to know that starting next year, players will get a lot more options in doing so.

The game's developers, Defiant Development, was impressed enough with its release a few weeks ago that it motivated them to expand the game further. Although no date was set for any sort of release, it should come within 2018. Some also speculate that it may come as a downloadable content (DLC) or an expansion pack.

One of the new game modes the developers mentioned was an "Endless Mode." As the name already implies, players will battle endlessly until someone wins. However, to help players in doing so, there are new companions and new weapons to choose from. There is also a new enemy faction in the works so players might find themselves battling against. The Endless Mode itself will feature "fresh challenges and a ton of new unlockables" according to the update from the developers.

Speaking of updates, they just recently released a free update allowing players to get a new companion. This new companion character is not someone new as he is no other than the dealer players have been encountering already since the first game. However, he is only unlockable when players have finished the main game's final challenge. To those who already have completed the challenge, they can unlock him by heading to the "additional content" menu and pressing "claim."

In combat, the dealer would be offering long-range support. If that is not enough, he will often be wittingly insulting players as well when they go through dungeons with him. There is also an add-on available that provides more dealer-themes customization features when starting a new game.

While the dealer update has already been released, there are no specific dates for the Endless Mode and other additions. Nevertheless, it seems like 2018 will definitely have a lot in store for the players of "Hands of Fate 2."
