'GTA 5' gameplay update news: 'Dragon Ball' mod with Ki Blasts, teleportation and more

Despite being released years ago, "Grand Theft Auto V" ("GTA 5") is still one of the top most played games of today. With mods being developed here and there, some can make their own versions of the game to make it even more fun. One mod creator has even placed "Dragon Ball" elements into the game.

Mod creator, JulioNIB, has made it possible to imagine a world where "Dragon Ball" characters exist. His "Dragon Ball Z GTA 5 mod" has recently just been completed and it features different characters flying around the city and doing what they can do: Destructo Disc, Kamehameha, Ki Blast and even the Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb).

Unfortunately, it is only the show's lead, Goku, who has his model placed in the game. However, the players do not have to be Goku to do all the cool moves as the ordinary "GTA" character can do all of the same moves. It is as if Goku became one of the millennials while retaining his powers.

Players can imagine all sorts of things they can do with Goku's prowess in the real world, or at least in the game. They can go around flying all over the city causing havoc with their powers if they wanted to. The controls are quite easy as well and need no sort of combination like in the actual "Dragon Ball" games.

This is actually not the first time that JulioNIB made an incredible mod. In the mod society, he is known for creating superheroes with some of his previous works including The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and the Flash. The best thing about all this is that JulioNIB has made these including the "Dragon Ball" mod for absolutely free.

Those who want to read more about the mod can go to the official blog. There are instructions on its installation as well as footage of the gameplay.
