Fans of "Grimm" are still hoping to hear renewal news for the seventh season of the horror procedural series.

NBC has announced that "Grimm" will return to the network for its sixth and final season in January 2017, but fans of the series are still clamoring for a series extension.

According to reports, fans are hoping to that other networks will pick up the series from NBC. Some of the networks that are being petitioned to absorb the show are CBS, TNT, or Freeform.

However, Movie News Guide revealed that if Freeform will pick up the series, there will be several elements from the series that will have to be removed in order to fit into the network's format.

But while the fate of the series remains to be uncertain, actress Claire Coffee revealed through an interview with Parade that she wants to see her character Adalind get back with David Giuntoli's Nick Burkhardt in the final season of the series.

"I think what Adalind would like is to be back with Nick, be happy, and be able to establish a family with him. I think Adalind firmly believes that Nick and company are on the right side, and she wants to be, too," the actress said.

But if Adalind and Nick get back together, it could mean that the love triangle between them and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) will continue, especially since Juliette's alter-ego Eve is slowly remembering her past relationship with Nick.

However, there could also be a possibility that Adalind will die in the upcoming season. "After last season I think they've shown that nobody is safe. You know, I would prefer her to stay alive. I would prefer to end the series alive. That would be my preference. Anything beyond that is just icing on the cake," she stated.

News about the renewal of "Grimm" for season 7 are expected to be revealed soon.
