'Grimm' season 5 episode 17 spoilers: Eve gives Adalind a deadly warning as Nick goes after a Japanese Wesen in 'Inugami'

Nick has another hexenbiest-related issue on his hands in "Grimm" season 5, episode 17, titled "Inugami." After figuring out that Adalind has her hexenbiest powers back, Eve pays Nick's baby mama a visit to set one thing straight.

In this "Grimm" season 5 episode, Adalind returns to work at her old law firm. Eve drops by there to make sure she knows what it will mean for her if she attacks Nick. "If you hurt Nick, I will come for you," Eve warns her.

Adalind is understandably taken aback as seen in the "Grimm" season 5, episode 17 promo, and she has every reason to be terrified. With Eve trained to be a killing machine, she's someone not to be trifled with.

A scene in the promo suggests that Adalind seems to have grown accustomed to her hexenbiest powers once more, but she still hasn't told Nick yet. Eve might do that for her in this "Grimm" season 5 episode, or at least give Nick a hint at what is going on with Adalind.

Eve's desire and urge to protect Nick reminds "Grimm" fans that Juliette may not be as dead as she is supposed to be. Although Eve has established herself as a stone-cold assassin, she still may have a soft spot for Nick after all.

Meanwhile, apart from Eve and Adalind's brewing row, Nick will also be dealing with a new killer in town. A Japanese Wesen has been targeting the younglings of Portland as he utilizes an ancient code of vengeance.

The crisis comes to Nick and the team's attention after a severed head is found under a bridge. "Gilmore Girls" alum Keiko Agena will appear in this episode as a second-generation Japanese-American woman named Madoka Akagi.

She is the mother of a kid named Kuma, who appears to be the Wesen's victim. "The Man in the High Castle" star Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa will be in this "Grimm" season 5 episode to play Takeshi Himura, a family friend of the Akagis.

"Grimm" season 5, episode 17 "Inugami" airs April 15 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
