Nathan and Owen's feud is not going to slow down anytime soon. In fact, their bad blood will be on an all-time high in "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 17 titled "I Wear the Face."
In this "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode, Owen will get to add "buying Amelia a drink" to his list of reasons he abhors Nathan to death.
Meredith, Owen and Nathan are on their way to pick up a heart for a transplant. The three are cooped up in the back of ambulance so fans can imagine the awkwardness. The traffic just prolongs the anguish.
In a sneak peek for "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 17, Meredith feels the tension as well and attempts to break the ice by talking to Owen about the Preminger Grant. But the forced conversation quickly shifts to Amelia's alcohol problems.
This assimilates Nathan into the discussion, where he admitted that he bought Amelia a drink a few months back, but did not know she was an alcoholic as he so explicitly reasoned in the "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 clip.
Upon hearing this, Owen exploded and a new round of backbiting begins, until Meredith steps in and urges them to forget about their problems and focus on the work in front of them.
"We have a job to do. The two of you can kill each other later," Meredith tells them in the "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 promo. As she did, she showed every inch of disdain towards the new referee role she just took up.
This "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will show more bickering, courtesy of Jackson and April. The two can't seem to find a resolution, especially with Catherine getting in the way of the ex-couple.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 17 will also feature "The 70s Show" alum Wilmer Valderrama. He will play the role of a musical genius named Kyle Diaz who suffers from multiple sclerosis.
The "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 promo teases that Valderrama will easily charm the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital doctors with his talents.
