When asked if there are any concrete plans for the next "Gran Turismo," Yamauchi answered, "I cannot talk about anything yet, but since the moment releasing 'GT', I have started making the next 'GT.'" Yamauchi continued the interview and entertained several technical questions about the current "Gran Turismo Sport."
This statement can be interpreted in two ways, whether it refers to the development of a follow-up title to "Gran Turismo Sport" already in the works, or if it refers to the team's timely releases of titles almost every other year. The latest installment to the series, "Gran Turismo Sport," was released on Oct. 17 last year and has been received quite well with mostly positive reviews.
