It seems like the Mad Hatter/Jervis Tetch (Benedict Samuel) will continue causing problems in the upcoming episode of "Gotham" season 3.

According to reports, Jervis will run after Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) after the death of his sister, Alice (Naian Gonzalez Norvind). But instead of a simple revenge plot, the Mad Hatter will come up with an elaborate plan to force the former police detective to make difficult decisions.

The trailer showed that the Mad Hatter abducted two men, and both their lives seemed to be in danger. It appears that the Mad Hatter wants Gordon to choose who among the men could be saved since one of them will end up dead.

The Mad Hatter will also use the two women in Gordon's heart in his plan for revenge after he kidnapped both Valerie Vale (Jamie Chung) and Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) and asked him to choose who among the girls should be saved. Can Gordon manage to save both women?

On the other hand, the upcoming episode will also show the deepening partnership between Oscar Cobblepot/The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith). But someone familiar will reappear in Nygma's life.

While the details about the identity of the person who will return to Nygma's life remain a secret, it could be assumed that his former love interest, Kristen Kringle, will reappear as a new character named Isabella, as hinted by the casting information for the upcoming episode which claimed that the character will be portrayed by Chelsea Spack.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode of "Gotham" season 3 titled "Follow the White Rabbit" had been posted on Melty. It reads: "Mad Hatter sets his eyes on his next victims, forcing Jim Gordon to make some tough decisions. Meanwhile, Penguin and Nygma's relationship evolves, and a familiar face comes back into Nygma's life."

The next episode of "Gotham" season 3 will air on Fox on Monday, Oct. 24.
