'Gotham' season 2 episodes 19 and 20 plots revealed

Firefly will once again return in episode 20 of "Gotham" season 2.

Fox reveals that actress Michelle Veintimilla will reprise her role as Bridgit Pike/Firefly in the episode titled "Wrath of the Villains: Unleashed."

Bridgit is a known friend of Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova). According to the synopsis for the upcoming episode, Selina will join Bruce (David Mazouz) to look for Professor Strange (B.D. Wong).

According to the synopsis for the episode, "Azrael is on the loose in Gotham City, which sparks Penguin's (Robin Lord Taylor) need for revenge. Meanwhile, Bruce enlists the help of Selina Kyle to help track down Professor Strange, as he evades arrest for his experiments."

This could mean that Firefly will help Selina and Bruce track down Arkham Asylum's Chief of Psychiatry to make him pay for all the crimes that he did when he was doing his cruel experiments. Episode 20 is slated to air on Monday, May 9.

In episode 19 airing on Monday, May 2, both Bruce and Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) will investigate about Strange's Project Chimera. This will annoy the doctor, that is why he will order one of newly-resurrected creature to go after Gordon to stop their investigation.

The previous episode revealed that Gordon was urged to return to work so he can use the authority so he can investigate the mysterious murder of Bruce's parents, but he will have to keep Captain Barnes Michael Chiklis) about it.

The official synopsis for the episode titled "Wrath of the Villains: Azrael" reads:

"Gordon and Bruce question Professor Strange about Project Chimera, which leads Strange to send the newly resurrected Galavan to confront Gordon. Meanwhile, Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) investigates who Professor Strange."

Episode 19 will also feature the appearance of Ethel Peabody (Tonya Pinkins).

Meanwhile, Fox already announced the renewal of "Gotham" for season 3.
