'Girl Meets World' season 3 episode 8 spoilers: Maya reveals her 'bad' side

Girl Meets World season 3 Disney Channel

Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) is willing to get in touch with her dark side just to prove who she really is in the upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3.

In the episode titled "Girl Meets True Maya," Riley Matthew's (Rowan Blanchard) best friend plans to shed her consistently good persona so she can reveal who she thinks she really is by doing something bad.

According to the synopsis for the episode, "Feeling off-kilter, Maya decides to do something bad in order to balance out all the good she's done recently." However, it does not mention how Maya will execute her plans of being "bad."

Speculations claim that Maya's decision has something to do with Lucas' (Peyton Meyer) decision on whom he really wants to date between her and Riley. While Maya prevented Lucas from revealing the name of the girl that he wants to be with, she reminded him that Riley is still the best person for him no matter what.

Maya's next move might also have something to do with the return of Riley's uncle, Josh (Uriah Shelton). She has a major crush on him for the longest time, but he has been living in Philadelphia with his parents. Will Josh's return make her want to do something out of her comfort zone?

But in the upcoming episode, Maya is believed to be to be trying out a lot of things to learn who she really is. But she might be facing several bad decisions first before she finds out her real identity.

Meanwhile, reports claim that Disney Channel is considering cancelling "Girl Meets World" after season 3 because of the major drop in the show's rating. According to reports, some of the show's loyal fans are not happy with the plot of the current season because of the controversial love triangle. But the network has yet to verify the reports.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 7 airs on Friday, July 15.
