"Girl Meets World" season 2 won't wrap up until March 11, but people's attention is already on "Girl Meets World" season 3. Writers of the show have been teasing fans about what to expect in the new season on Twitter, prompting a heap of speculations and theories.
To begin with, the writers have revealed some of the titles of the episodes in "Girl Meets World" season 3. There's an installment titled "Girl Meets Ski Lodge," which will be in two parts. This installment will tackle a preceding season 3 episode called "Girl Meets Triangle."
It is easy to think that "Girl Meets Triangle" will be dealing with the long-standing love triangle between Maya, Lucas and Riley. However, it was teased in the "Girl Meets World" season 2 finale promo that Lucas will finally choose between the two.
However, if the season 2 finale is not ready to wrap up this issue yet, it looks like the Maya-Lucas-Riley dilemma will carry over in "Girl Meets World" season 3, and "Girl Meets Triangle" and "Girl Meets Ski Lodge" will be the episodes that will tackle that. Another season 3 installment involved in this storyline is the "Girl Meets Upstate," which comes after "Ski Lodge."
Careful not to give too much clues about what these "Girl Meets World" season 3 episodes have in store, the writers said, "Two part ski lodge where the triangle we find out wasn't a triangle in GM Triangle and GM Upstate finally absolutely resolves maybe."
Following "Upstate" is the episode called "Girl Meets True Maya," which is believed to explore the gender of the character. This could ultimately help solve the love triangle as well. Also, in the past, Rowan Blanchard who plays Maya talked about gender labels.
As for other "Girl Meets World" season 3 episodes, the writers revealed that there will be ones called "Girl Meets High School" -- the premiere that is divided into two parts -- "Girl Meets Jexica" and "Girl Meets Permanent Record."
No premiere date has been set for "Girl Meets World" season 3. In the meantime, fans can catch the "Girl Meets World" season 2 finale on March 11 on Disney Channel.
