'Girl Meets World' season 3 episode 9 spoilers: will it be Maya or Riley for Lucas?

While episode 8 had given viewers the taste that the series was going to be much more than just a love triangle, the real drama is just unfolding in the next episode. With episode 9, drama is about to get quite interesting as the audience's feelings go up and sink down as the character's relationships ride a roller coaster.

The moment fans have been waiting for months has finally come. Inevitably, Lucas Friar (Peyton Meyer) is at the point of making a choice between Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) ass the episode will be aired on July 29.

While the first part of the series showed Lucas choosing Riley over Maya, the show's writers have recently hinted on a possible change of mind. But fans trash this as they see Lucas and Riley, and Josh (Uriah Shelton) and Maya happening, as Lucas goes out on a date with Riley in episode 9.

Even at the start of the episode, Lucas claims that he knows clearly what he is thinking, while keeping the fans shouting in their seats and waiting for his decision. Riley and Maya are seen imagining who will turn out to be the one with Lucas.

The second half of the two-part episode of "Girl Meets Ski Lodge" saw a new male character Evan introduced and complicating things. In one of the scenes, as everyone went to bed, Riley and Evan got talking about their hopes and dreams until very late at night. Riley's instant connection with Evan even makes Lucas jealous and gives in to the possibility of Lucas choosing Maya when he sees Riley falling in love with someone else.

According to International Business Times, the episode will also reveal that Maya liked Lucas in the first place because she is Riley's best friend and wanted to see if Lucas was good enough for her. The excitement, however, does not seem to stop there, as such a decision might just give rise to new beginnings and a new twist in the storyline.
