Netflix will officially begin the nostalgia fest for fans of "Gilmore Girls" next week as the online streaming service provider drops the four-part special called "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" after Thanksgiving.

Each 90-minute chapter will center on the lives of Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and her daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel), during the different seasons of the year.

However, critics have different opinions about the revival special because of its length and pacing.

According to Variety's Maureen Ryan, each of the beloved aspects of "Gilmore Girls" that made it endearing to its viewers is present in each chapter of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." Although, having to incorporate everything on a 90-minute episode could be a little overwhelming.

On the other hand, The Hollywood Reporter's Daniel Fienberg praised the show for stirring the emotions of the viewers, even if it is peppered with several structural problems as well as the plot's uncertain relationship to the titles of each episode.

While critics do not exactly like the pacing and the length of the four new chapters of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," viewers were expecting to enjoy all the drama and nostalgia that will be featured when the revival specials air next Friday.

Reports claim that the first episode titled "Winter" will showcase the events that happened four months after the death of Richard Gilmore (Edward Herrmann). This could show how Lorelai and Rory will grieve over the death of the Gilmore patriarch. But Lorelai's mother, Emily (Kelly Bishop,) will be the most affected of all because she was married to Richard for almost her entire life.

The first episode will also reveal that Lorelai and Luke (Scott Patterson) are still together, but they are not yet engaged. This could mean that viewers will have to watch all four chapters of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" in order to find out if the two will finally tie the knot.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" will be released by Netflix on Nov. 25.
