Things are not looking good for the citizens of Port Charles. The "General Hospital" spoilers for next week indicate that an earthquake will rock the town to its core, leaving a lot of people in great danger including Franco (Roger Howarth).

The man is currently facing off with Greg Evigan's Jim and that alone already spells trouble. Things are about to get worse though as the earthquake may hit just as their confrontation wraps up. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports this leaves Howarth's character trapped and injured but he makes it out alive and it could be due to Jason's (Jason Burton) aid.

"General Hospital" spoilers for March 5 to March 9 say Jason finds Franco by chance while looking for Drew (Billy Miller). Despite his hatred for the guy, he plays hero and saves him, reminding locals why they like him very much. However, his goodwill could reportedly cost him.

As he tries to rescue Sam (Kelly Monaco) next, Jason finds himself trapped with the woman he likes in the rubble. Still, there is something good that comes out of it. As they are forced to be alone, thrust in a life and death situation, Sam and Jason will turn to each other and confess some things that have been buried since the latter came back from the dead.

Sam was and is in love with her husband Drew (Billy Miller) when Jason returned, but it turns out she also still had some feelings and memories left with Jason. Jason apparently feels the same for her. It is an exciting road ahead for "JeSam" (Jason and Sam).

For what it's worth, the encounter with her ex will emotionally affect Sam. Team DreAm (Drew and Sam) should not worry though as this does not necessarily change her mind and feelings about Drew.

"General Hospital" airs weekdays on ABC.
