"Game of Thrones" actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau recently delivered some bad news for "Jamienne" fans.

Since Jaime (Coster-Waldau) crossed paths with the stoic Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) in the series, many viewers have noticed their on-screen chemistry. The Kingslayer is in an incestuous relationship with his twin sister Cersei (Lena Headey), but he obviously cares a lot about the female knight.

In an interview with Mashable, Coster-Waldau said Brienne and Jaime have an "interesting relationship" because of their shared history. However, it is not enough reason for Jaime to set his eyes on another woman. The actor revealed that Jaime will stay committed to Cersei, especially now that more enemies are after her.

"I mean clearly [he and Brienne] have emotional responses when they're together," Coster-Waldau added. "But they would never — I don't think he allows that to get into his mind, or to act on it at all."

Meanwhile, it was announced in March that Ed Sheeran will be appearing in the series as a guest star. The British singer had an interview with The Hits Radio last week and he teased more details about his upcoming cameo. According to Sheeran, he will be doing a scene with Arya (Maisie Williams) in which he serenades her with a short song. The "Divide" singer also hinted that there will be a short conversation between his character and Arya.

"Game of Thrones" only has two seasons left before its end, but HBO is not giving up on George R.R. Martin's epic fantasy novel. The New York Times reported that spin-off shows are being developed and it will focus on different timelines from Martin's vast universe. The original drama's long-time executive producers Dan Weiss and David Benioff will still get executive producer credits, but they are not expected to be heavily involved in the new spin-off programs.

The seventh season of "Game of Thrones" premieres Sunday, July 16, at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO.
