Aside from the possible return of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), fans of "Game of Thrones" are already looking forward to seeing the return of another Stark in the sixth season of HBO's widely talked-about fantasy drama.
Entertainment Weekly recently shared the first look at Ned and Catelyn Stark's second son, Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), who will return in the series for season 6.
Bran was last seen going after the Three-Eyed Raven during the season 4 finale, together with Meera (Ellie Kendrick) and his trusted aide Hodor (Kristian Nairn). Their group got separated from his younger brother, Rickon (Art Parkinson), and Osha (Natalia Tena).
Their group used to include Meera's brother Jojen (Thomas Sangster), but he was killed by a group of skeletons before they reached the cave where the Three-Eyed Raven was dwelling.
Bran, who is also a brother to Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams), was paralyzed from the waist down after Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) pushed him off a tower after the he witnessed Jaime and his twin sister Cersei (Lena Headey) doing something intimate.
In an earlier interview with the Irish Examiner, as quoted by Variety, Hempstead-Wright shared his involvement in "Game of Thrones" season 6.
"I am back this season and it's going to get particularly interesting with Bran ... he has some interesting visions," the young actor said.
Because the actor is now 16 years old, Bran is now noticeably taller and older. His hair is also shorter hair and his facial features are more chiseled.
Meanwhile, the appearance of Bran's half-brother Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones" season 6 had been the center of numerous debates since the end of season 5.
In the previous season's finale, Jon Snow was killed by his own brothers at the Night's Watch because of his unpopular way of ruling as the Lord Commander. But because of his appearance in the trailer for "Game of Thrones" season 6 and several fan sightings within the areas where the series is being filmed, more speculations about the character's return arose.
"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres April 2016.
