Only a week has passed since the finale episode of "Game of Thrones" season 5 was aired on HBO, but fans are more than eager to find out new information about the show's plot for its next season.

Unlike the previous seasons wherein fans had the option to check out the books written by George R.R. Martin under the "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga on which the TV series was loosely based, the plot for season 6 is completely unknown. Martin has yet to publish "The Winds of Winter," the sixth installment in the saga. Until its release, fans of both the novels and the TV adaptation are left in the dark about the fate of all the major characters, particularly Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

The Lord Commander was left for dead in both the book and TV versions, but fans are still hoping that the beloved character is not really gone from the series.

Meanwhile, the Express UK recently reported that the staff and crew of "GoT" are already filming scenes in Macedonia.

The show is known for filming in some of the most breathtaking exotic locations, such as the cities in Morocco, Croatia, Iceland, Spain, and Northern Ireland. Macedonia is the latest country that will be used by the popular HBO series. According to the report, the filming will happen in the cities of Prilep and Ohrid, as well as the central eastern region Krivolak.

Although HBO and "GoT" have yet to confirm the report, there are speculations that Daenerys' (Emilia Clark) scenes in season 6 will be filmed there. Fans will recall that she and her dragon Drogon encountered a new Dothraki tribe after she fled Meereen for her life. It can also be the area outside Meereen where Daario Naharis (Michael Huisman) and Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) will search for their queen.

On the other hand, a leaked audio tape was recently posted on the fan-made Game of Thrones BR site. The tape, which has now been removed, apparently contained the audition piece of "Children of Men" actress Tehmina Sunny for the role of a Red Priestess of R'hllor named Kinvara. Based on the website, Kinvara will help Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Varys (Conleth Hill) to convince the citizens of Meereen to wait for their Queen Daenerys because she is the real One Who Was Promised.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 is expected to come out sometime in March or April 2016.
