The latest "Frozen 2" release date reports are hinting that the much-awaited sequel to the Disney blockbuster hit will take a while to get here. The sequel was already confirmed but there is no concrete word when it will be out.

Disney is adamant to put together a movie that will be up to par, if not better, than the original, which is loved by millions of fans around the world. From the story to the characters and the soundtrack, the original film was spot on and the network intends to do the same.

This is why the folks behind the "Frozen 2" movie are racking their brain out for a new song that will top the success of the first film's iconic song "Let It Go," which was sang by Idina Menzel as Elsa at the time the character chose to embrace the ability she always saw as a curse.

Rumor has it that the "Frozen" sequel will see Anna and Elsa sing a duet, which is being designed to catch on the way "Let It Go" did. Film critics believe that it will be one of the bigger aspects the creative team behind the film is focusing on.

The future "Frozen 2" songs are definitely getting fans more thrilled more about the film and it will take time to stitch together soundtrack that will once again capture the hearts of moviegoers. This is why the "Frozen 2" release date could go further.

At the moment, there's no release date for the highly-anticipated sequel. The movie is currently on pre-production stage and there's a lot of work to be done. As far as "Frozen 2" plot rumors go, the latest insight in that aspect is that a heinous villain will brought into play.

This baddie will allegedly break up the Arendelle sisters, which, if it really is the case, make the rumored Anna-Elsa duet more meaningful. As for the other characters, Olaf is said to get a love interest of his kind while Prince Hans is said to woo the ice queen as a changed man.

There's also word that Tarzan and Rapunzel's purported connection to the sisters will be played out in "Frozen 2."
